Biography:
Charles Glassmire, artist and engineer, received the Master of Fine Arts Degree (M.F.A.) in Film from Columbia University in the City of New York. He has taught Photography, Filmmaking, and Computer Arts on the faculty of five Colleges and Universities. He currently teaches at Carnegie Mellon University, Community College of Allegheny County and at the Computing Workshop. He received the Bachelor of Science in Physics and served as a Nuclear Engineer with Westinghouse for nine years. His digital films and photographs have been exhibited nationally and several films are in national museums. He writes a blog with interesting tales from the nuclear age at:
