Digital Imagers Meeting
Sunday April 3, 2016 at 1:15, Pitt Scaife Hall, Room 1102
Description:
We will be discussing how to create great long exposure photographs, ranging from waterfall shots to night photography. I will discuss some of the techniques I use to create these images. Long exposures are my sweet tooth in photography. You can create unique imagery with skillful control of the shutter speed.
Biography:
I am a fine art photographer who sells my work at 10-15 art shows a year including the Three Rivers Art Festival, Central Pa. Arts Festival, and Shadyside Arts Festivals. I have recently shown my images at the Hoyt Center of the Arts, Maryland Federation of the Arts, Pennsylvania State Museum, Allegheny Art Council, Blair County Arts Festival, Hilton Head Art League Bicentennial, and Ebensburg Art In Bloom. I am a contributor on Shutterstock and Istockphoto. I have had an interest in photography for some 15 years. Recently I have grown my photography business. It took photography classes in college to really get my photo legs under me. I grew up in the Altoona area, then lived in Colorado and Oregon for over ten years. Five years ago I returned to the Altoona/Johnstown area. I enjoy being outdoors and taking my camera with me.
