Biography
Alan Lefkowitz is a retired Attorney and exhibiting photographer, who practiced in Pittsburgh for 47 years primarily in Corporate, Business and Securities Law. He served as an adjunct professor for the Master of Arts Management Program at the Heinz School of Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University, teaching a course entitled "Art & the Law" and conducting several seminar courses there.
Alan serves on the Board of Directors of the Academy of Arts & Sciences Photographic Section. He is active with the Silver Eye Center for Photography and has served on the Board of the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and is a frequent speaker for both business groups and art groups on legal topics. He teaches classes, lectures and is active in the art and entertainment community, having served as Chair of the Art & the Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He represented television producers, media talent, artists and has lectured to and advised art organizations.
