I will discuss examples of my work in conversion of digital imagery to painterly imagery, then to give an overview of the software package "Corel Painter".
Biography:
He received a Medical Degree from Temple University. When time permitted from a busy gastroenterology practice, he attended a number of photography workshops around the country, including Santa Fe Photographic, The Palm Beach Photographic Institute in Florida. He studied HDR with Ben Wilmore at Palm Beach and studied Fine Digital Printmaking with George DeWolfe in 2012. In December of 2008 he attended a photo workshop in San Miguel, Mexico with Nancy Rotenberg’s group, Natural Tapestries, and workshops with The National Geographic Society with David Allen Harvey in New York City, and Catherine Karnow in San Francisco in 2011. He has exhibited in the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh and in 2000 had a one man show at The Merrick Art Gallery in New Brighton, PA. Recently a photography web site was set up: http://www.morrymoskovitz.com, showing international scenes from France, Iceland, India, Eastern Europe, South and Central America. He is a member of The Digital Imagers Group, The Associated Artists all of Pittsburgh (AAP), and The Pittsburgh Society of Artists . He attended a workshop at The Palm Beach Photographic with John Reuter in October 2012. He has lectured on "HDR in photography" at The Digital Imagers and a multimedia presentation on “The Face of India Today”.
